I hired Lekien for a consulting session on some decorating projects in my home. I knew what I wanted and had started implementing some of my design ideas, but I was stuck on some points and questioning my decisions. Lekien was amazing. She was able to understand what I wanted out of my spaces. She not only gave great guidance where I needed, but she also provided ideas that I hadn’t considered that exactly captured what I’m after. I realize that my “project” is not the typical project for an interior designer as what I needed was to pick her brain. What impressed me was her ability to “get me”. As a non-creative person, it’s sometimes hard to explain exactly what i want, but she understood my explanation and just ran with it. And she accepted the parameters of our consulting – she didn’t try to oversell me. That sounds like a minor thing, but it’s great when a professional doesn’t push for a bigger sale. She gladly worked within my parameters and my budget. I’m definitely looking forward to working with her again.
